Using the Shupe D18 Amphib. all is fine until I try rain or fog. then the windows go blue. they will blink clear on and off. The land D18 model works exellent rain or shine. I am running vista 64. I tried the Flight1 FSX fix with no luck. Anyone have a suggestion as to what to do.

It's a bit tricky.
In fact, the Flight1 patch will only fix the textures that dislay the water when the aircraft is parked (no airspeed).
You would have to download and install the VC rain effect also for the "moving" textures. Try to find the file rlvcrain.zip. Both this file and the Flight1 patch should fix the problem

All fixed. Used suggested file and FS9 rainstopped textures and saved FSX textures. Now have good Amphib

Hi There,
I have the same problem.
Could you just me thru the procedure to download the patch and file and where to place it. I am a bit lost with this.

The Flight1 patch is an auto-installer. You might like to try that first. http://www.flight1.com/view.asp?page=library

Perhaps someone can post a link to the other file.
