Hi All,
For those who do not have the 152, here is the link to download the 152 for Microsoft FSX. For beginner virtual-pilots this is the best plane to start off before you get on the Cessna 172.

I have been looking for it everywhere on JustFlight.com, ever since I saw it in the FSinsider newletter.

I've always thought it's 'bad form' to bring R/L experiences to a Sim Forum. But, this model is 'spot on' from everything I remember about my hours in a C152.
The only exception is the trim required when the flaps are extended. I don't remember that much of a change. But this is a minor, minor issue.
If you want to get as close as possiable to an actual A/C for FREE... You'll want this one...

Yes I'm talking about the link by the OP. The C-152 is a 'viceless' aircraft. It does exactly what YOU want when YOU want it. Some have said that that makes it a poor trainer. I disagree.. It's just a matter of understanding what YOU want it to do...

Hi all

I really like the model. I still fly it from time to time. Of all my thousands of hours in FS, in all types of planes, the 152 has a feel to it that begs you to take it up again.
It's not a fast plane. It's not a aerobatic plane. It's not got loads of power to weight. But it flys so nicely, that it is hard to pass it by when selecting a plane. For slow GA, it is one of the best for the game, imo.

Glad all of you like this plane. I started my flight lessons months back on this plane
and the recommended take off speed is 65 and then climb at 85 to gain altitude faster and landing speed 65-70knots.
This plane is great on FSX but for some reason to maintain a level flight I am forced to apply some left and right pressure on the ailerons
unlike other planes in FSX. Is this normal or is there a setting I could change?

Himmm? Topcatin try this. Try flying with clear weather and no wind and see what happens. I do remember a flight where I was having the problem you describe but it turned out to be a really nasty crosswind to my heading.
