Assuming these are new textures you've added to the default a/c.....
In the aircraft.cfg file-check the [fltsim.x] section headers for errors.
The [fltsim.x] headers must be in numerical sequence, with no duplicates, no missing numbers, or out of order.
Any error in the sequence will cause all aircraft from that error downward to 'no show'.

And just to expand dave3cu's reply... The "title" line under [fltsim.x] must be unique for each variant, and the SIM line must be the same as your *.air file.
Also make sure you have "show all variants" checked in the select aircraft menu.

To expand on both of these posts, If you check your SIMOBJECTS / AIRPLANES folder for your 60 747's.. If you do not find a PANEL FOLDER, a Model folder, or .air file....... then it very well could be only a TEXTURE or repaint. you will need to put these textures in the Base (default) 747 folder, and associate each Texture in the Base .CFG with a new
[fltsim.X]
title=Boeing 747-400
sim=Boeing747-400
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=
kb_checklists=Boeing747-400_check
kb_reference=Boeing747-400_ref
atc_id=N747
atc_airline=
atc_flight_number=1123
atc_heavy=1
atc_parking_types=CARGO
ui_manufacturer="Boeing"
ui_type="747-400"
ui_variation="White"
ui_typerole="Commercial Airliner"
ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"
description=
[fltsim.X] X = the number in sequence.
and you need to change the following
title=Boeing 747-400
ui_variation="White"
ui_typerole="Commercial Airliner"
ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"

1. Make sure that the texture folder is named texture.kalp
2. Try to put " at the beginning and end of the 6 last lines. Copy and paste this:
[quote]ui_manufacturer="Boeing"
ui_type="747-400"
ui_variation="Korean Air"
ui_typerole="Commercial Airliner"
ui_createdby="Microsoft Corporation"
description="More than 30 years ago, the 747 made its first trip from New York to London.

1. Is the texture.kalp folder within the default B747 folder?
2. Does it not have any folders inside it?
3. Are you editing the default aircraft.cfg file, and is the [fltsim.47] after the previous one [fltsim.46]?
Many questions to get answered

I may have missed it, if someone has mentioned this, but, do each of your textures have a thumbnail?

A thumbnail isn't necessary for the aircraft to show up on FSX. In case a texture doesn't have a thumbnail, a "?" is shown.

This sounds like a textbook case of aircraft.cfg editing error.
I would suggest this -
Open the aircraft.cfg in question.
Start FSX
Starting with the first - [fltsim.0] verify that you have it available in the sim.
Scroll down the aircraft.cfg, checking each [fltsim.nn] entry until you find one that is not available in the sim.
This entry is usually the problem child.
Make sure it is next sequentially, that you haven't skipped a number, gone from [fltsim.nn] to [fltsim.nn+2].
Make sure the title= is unique, the simplest way to check this is to change it to something extremely unusual, like your mothers name. Then restart the sim and see if it shows up.
If these measures do not repair the sim then post that [fltsim.nn] entry here so we can see it.
Also note that you may have more than one entry with errors, so you may need to repeat this procedure.
Always best to make changes to the sim one-at-a-time, and verify they work properly before moving on to the next change.
Hope this helps,
Joe

thank you Joe your post was the right thing. one fltsim.20 was called fltsim.x20. other fltsims was without manufactor or the wrong .txture name.
Now i have all my Airplanes.
Thank you very much

this threat can now be closed 8-)
