i downloaded the tom A340 package and i followed all the installation instructions...unfortunately, when i load the aircraft, all i can see is the wings...no fuselage or tail or engine....does anyone know whats wrong??

You did not follow the installation instructions?
Never heard of that error before. Did you get the original MS VC files? That's the only reason I can think of.

I believe this problem occurs if yo don't have the SP2 installed.
Which version of FSX are you using ?
