Adding a DME to a stock VOR?

Postby DeepSpace » Mon Oct 12, 2009 3:20 pm

Hello all, I haven't posted in a very long while...
Anyway lately I went back into FSX, and got a question. Since the time FSX released, a VOR in my country got a DME installed to it.

I've read that it is impossible to add a DME to a stock FSX VOR, and if you'll create another one that VOR station will get duplicated.

Is that really the case? Is there no walk around to that problem?

Open up the stock airport in ADE, edit the navaid and save the 'new' scenery in Addon Scenery/scenery so it overrides the existing

HA! That actually worked! Should have tried that before but I guess I couldn't bother since I've read that it wouldn't work. Thanks!
