Hello people I am wondering if anyone knows of a good turtorial for the Garmin 1000 glasscockpit. I would very much like to be able to interpretate what I see on the screen, coz at this time I cannot make heads or tails of the visual. If posible to be able to download it and view it on one screen, whilst I have the Garmin open on the other. that way I can see what they would be talking about.
Many thanks in advance myk

The Learning Center in FSX has a topic devoted to the G1000. Though you can't view it and fly at the same time you can print it.
It also contains a link to Garmin where you can download the manual(s).

Thanks Dave I was aware of the learning center but as you say, you cannot have manual on one screen and the Garmin on another. I was hoping someone would know of a downloaded walk-through tutorial for it. I have already had the Garmin manual and it is still greek to me. Nothing is better than having a visual to guide you through.

You could create a desktop short cut to open the Learning Center G1000 topic in IE.
The G1000 .htm is in..\\FSWeb\LearningCenter\Navigation\usingtheg1000.htm, or....
Create a hyperlink in one of knee board .htm's to view it in the knee board. The ..\Uires\kneeboard_keys.htm is a good one as it is always available in the kneeboard Maybe doesn't work like in FS9 ??
