I never have had any problems with textures in FSX. I've had very few problems with FSX at all, really so my troubleshooting skills are low.

Well I went to play on it today after having not played on it for a few months and the runway I'm sitting on is the same grass as the field around it, but the markings on the runway are markings for the concrete runway that's supposed to be there. It looks like a runway's markings painted onto a field. I've repaired FSX using the original disks to no avail. Also, some clouds (not all, but some) are squares, but others are normal.

What can I do to fix this? Thanks for any help you can give me!

What airport?
Is it a FSX default airport or an add on?
Do you use any texture add on, such as REX or XGraphics?
Do you have a custom AFX file for this airport (added by traffic add on such as MyTraffiX)?

Thank you sooo much for replying. I decided to see if I had installed SP 2 because I couldn't remember. I went to install it and it said that you never installed SP1!!! I forgot after my computer crashed and I had to reinstall everything that I forgot to install either of the service packs!! Now it works great, I am soooo sorry about this. I feel bad. I thought I had installed the service packs!!!

No problem! Making mistakes proves your'e human and that's a good thing 

and if that is the case.....boy!!! am i human!!!..and that must be really really a good thing!
