Lockheed L-188 Sound & Engine start fixs
Posted: Sat Sep 12, 2009 2:04 pmFix 1 Some people are having problems with a dinging sound in the cockpit that will not turn off, to fix this open the sound config. file with notepad and scroll down near the bottom to Wind Sounds , add // before the entrees to remove the ding or change " cabin " to one of the wind sounds from the main FSX Sound folder
Fix 2 When trying to start engines only the left engine will start , to fix this open the aircraft config. file with notepad ,scroll down to the Electrical section and change the engine starters to this
starter1=0, 20, 17.0
starter2=0, 20, 17.0
starter3=0, 20, 17.0
starter4=0, 20, 17.0
You have to do this for both the cargo and passenger aircraft files and any other planes that use this soundset eg. P-3 Orions etc.
