Mesh question

Just downloaded a mesh addon that came with a self installer, as I rarely find one that works properly I prefer to do a manual install. What folder in fsx should it be placed in.Have never installed a mesh before so this is a learning time for me.

I believe you can place the mesh files directly into the "add on/scenery" folder.

Just my opinion, but mesh should be treated like any other "scenery" product and be installed into it's own folder structure within FSX and activated via the Scenery Library. Nothing like having to hunt down some stray mesh files when you want to deactivate any area or if you need to prioitize some new mesh over some existing mesh.
Just a little more work, but worth the effort.
