SP2 to Acceleration

I am contemplating removing SP2 and adding Acceleration.
Comments on the procedures please:
1. Disable UTX
2. remove cfg.
3. Remove SP2.
4. reboot
5. fly default flight.
6. reboot.
7. install Acceleration
8. fly default.
9. reboot
10.enable UTX
