VC resolution?

I was wonderinf if anyone could give me a tip on how to get the textures in my virtual cockpits to be more, well... readable. Right now I need to refer to the 2D panel to read any of the markings on knobs, guages, etc for most virtual cockpits because the text looks like white globs in VC... I have my texture settings set high and im playing at 1080p with a 9800GTX+ so I don't think I should have so much trouble with this.

Are the native textures just not detailed enough, and if so has anybody updated any of them to be legible?

There are three possibilities:
- you did not check the "high resolution virtual cockpit" in the advanced graphics options
- the plane itself is not defined correctly in the panel.cfg. See the [VCockpitxx] sections, and try to increase the "pixel_size" parameter, like from "256,256" up to "512,512" or "1024, 1024".
- the gauges or textures are not good and you can't do anything about that (appart from using other gauges, by editing them in the panel.cfg)
