Bufferpools question

Postby vgbaron » Sat Jul 04, 2009 2:23 pm

Playing around with bufferpools and TBM (was bored today) and discovered a strange thing - if I set Poolsize >267M - when I go into freeflight screen and select an a/c, it displays with parts in the wrong place ie, elevators sticking out of the doors. It will load that way also.

If I drop poolsize below 268M - all is well.

BufferPool settings are a your mileage may very setting. What you have described is one of the hints that you have it set too high. I can run 100 (100000000) without any side effects. If I set it higher is when I see what you have described. Try 100,000,000 and you will prob be OK but its not a for sure setting. As for the TBM 70 is what I have mine set at. Raising the TBM will keep the blurries away. 70 is a good setting for that.  Happy 4th! :)

Yes, that's what I remembered. :)  Just that I recall there was some *other* cause for that too but don't remember what.  100M seems the place for me.
