Large Private Airfields
Posted: Sun Jun 28, 2009 3:43 amJust for a change of pace I would like to find an airfield that has a large runway but is not at a huge airport... Does anyone have any suggestions? I don't know any.

KROW use to be a SAC airbase, the airbase was closed in the 60's or 70's. Now it is a very small municipal airport with small commuter jets and props going in an out. I do not know if they still do, but a lot of large commumter jets and military jets used to do touch & go practice landings at KROW.
