Im currently playing at 1280 x960 which is same as my desktop.
I tried a few other ones and everything look kind of short or fat.

What other resolution is good to play?
Or I just need to modify something?

I always read that your native monitor resolution was the best.

I have tried different resolutions but the native is well propotioned and is not worth changing.

As well as Pauls' other reasons.

Indeed. What that is all depends on the type of monitor, its screen size & aspect ratio. Understanding LCD Monitors

Hi

You should be able to run it at any res that has the same aspect ratio as your native res, without any stretching or scaling. But running it at native res will have the best image quality.

You can look at this chart to find the resolutions with the same aspect ratio.
