Starting ATC over after landing?

Hey everyone!
I flew into a local airport with one type of plane and then changed aircraft to take off from the same local airport. I wanted to get clearance to take off but ATC was still in the old aircraft mode for parking instructions.

Is there a way to reset ATC without backing all the way out back to the main FSX screen and starting over?

After you acknowledge your ground hand-off..  one of the options should be: "Taxi for takeoff options"

I didnt see it that on the window. Maybe because I didnt go exactly to the spot that I was suppose to taxi and park.  :P

I've always found that if I got instructed to go somewhere, I had to get there and stop before I could ask permission for taxi and takeoff.
