Carriers
Need some help, am I missing something? I've been using rcbco in FS9 and also the rcbco for FSX for a long time and now have more than fifty different carriers that I've relocated all over the world in FSX. They are all hard deck with full catapults and arrestors and are scenery objects in my addon scenery folder. I can fly any of my carrier aircraft (several hundred) from any airport and then land on any carrier, or start a launch on any catapult on any carrier, because I set up all the parameters in the xml files using the bgl compiler. Now I just downloaded the neat Flightsim Nation carrier. I don't want to drive the carrier, I want to locate it so it can function like all my others.
How do I do this since it is an "aircraft" and not a scenery object? I did load it onto Lake Superior in Duluth, and it looks great, but I haven't seen any instructions on how I can then load and take off in my A4 and go practice on this good looking ship. Does this require setting up a mission or something, or can I do it in free flight? I have Win XP Pro SP2 and FSX Accel.
I didn't mean to be so wordy, but thought it would help in getting some advice. I monitor all the forums but I rarely ask for anything because a search usually comes up with a solution that someone else has already discussed. Thanks ahead.
