Landing makes splash sound now

I have my fs running very much to my satisfaction, but something strange has arisen.

Whenever I land on a runway in a GA plane the touchdown noise is a lound splash sound, not the chirp of the tires on the ground.

I think it may have to do with on of my addons I installed and removed, but I can't seem to find what to fix.

All the soundfiles are in the sounds folder including the correct touchdown noises and the sound.cfg appears to point to the correct places.  Could it be something in my registry has changed?

If anyone has any ideas I would be very appreciative.

To give you a more sensible answer;

I had this problem... I simply copied my module, gauges, effects and sounds over from my laptop which had the default fsx installation on there with no addons etc... over to my desktop wich had the splash problems (then obviously replace them all) this cured my'n. I still dont know what caused it or as to why this happened but that seemed to cure it for me. ;)

Pefefcto, that fixed it right up, I got the sound and gauges from another install and they work perfectly again.,

I am using a FSX SP2 guages in an fsx acceleration program, I don't think there will be any problems with this tho' as it seems to be working well so far and the landing noise is correct again.

Thanks Brett
