WHAT IS APU?
I saw this in most of the Citation X photos and there is a code in the modeldef.xml "" there is a "Switch APU" but I don't know what it does PLEASE? :-/

Auxilliary Power Unit.

It is an additional jet engine found on many jet aircraft, particularly air transport category planes, that is used to power a generator to supply the aircraft with AC/DC electricity (mainly) while on the ground but not connected to a ground cart or gate supply.  It also can supply bleed air to run the packs and to use to start the main engines.

It can also be utilized in an emergency in flight (they usually have altitude restrictions with them) to power some systems.

It provides no thrust involved in the actual flying of the plane.

Unfortunately, in fs2004 Microsoft forgot that they exist.

Yes it has , there are couple things in modeldef.xml (FSX-SDK)one its the switch and the other is I will edit this as soon I read it back..
But it is in FSX true models..

Alex, on the Citation X, XLS, Sovereign, and Columbus the APU also provides bleed air to start the engine(s) when ground power units are not available.

In FSX the APU actually does provide "electric" to eliminate draining the batteries...  8-)

Ok, let get honest here ,I can't dig into a Payware super special details because this is not a payware and seems I can't even ask for paypal donations,so will be again my entire contribution to the MSFS enthusiast people and if it someone feels too happy ,will have to fly here and give me at least a Jar of Peanut butter
