It sounds like a sp2 issue. Try the faqs at the top of the forum. You will need a program like DXTbmp to convert the windshield texture.

Just read the FAQs and there will be lots of questions answered for you, its always the first port of call.  ;)

I have a variation of this problem with some FS9 aircraft when there is rain. Rain will cause the outside view to flicker and disappear. I get a blue-green panel similar to what Archer reported on. The VC works properly in all other conditions.

I have tried modifying the glass textures with the DXTBmp but evidently I have not found the right combination. Removing the glass texture completely does not cure the problem either. I may have missed it, but I did not find a fix for this in the FAQ. I would appreciate any help.

...that certainly did help. Many thanks Carcher. My searches all drew no results. I had read part of that thread before, but did not get down that far. The only casualty so far is some of the vc textures of the DMFS Comets 3&4 have disappeared. Working on that. Thanks again.
