Urgent FSX Reinstallation Help Needed

I uninstalled FSX awhile ago to help save space on my computer. Now, I've been wanting to play and trying to install it. however, error windows keep popping up and everything whenever I insert my discs and I can't uninstall it completely from the Add/Remove programs (along with SP1 and SP2 components). Thanks, all help will be appreciated. I want to fly once again!

When I insert disc 1 into my drive:
This path package could not be opened.

When you uninstall, you must uninstall the support packages first. Then you can uninstall FSX from the DVD.
Concerning your popup problem, have you tried copying all the files in a directory on your hardrive, and launch the install from there ?

did you clean the registry?
Like Regedit etc? there is a program for that ,but I clean it myself.
