Stupid jetways!!!

Postby Excalibur372 » Tue Apr 07, 2009 5:54 pm

Is there any way I could get jetways on lower settings. I have it at normal and it runs fine, but NO jetways. When I put it to dense(which is the only way jetways will showup), it slows my frame rates. The airport isn't big(KBTR). I just need 1 or 2. Thanks

My specs... A hard drive, motherboard, graphics card, some memory, a keyboard, mouse, and monitor - in other words, nothing special.

I doubt it is the jetway causing the problem but more so the activation or movement of the jetway. Have you tried the exit data tweek to your AI aircraft which will not allow the jetways to come alive?

Jack,

The 'tweek' is editing the [Exits] section of the aircraft.cfg file. There are property definitions in this section required for the jetways (and baggage handlers) to function.

You can refer to, or even copy, the section from a similar default ac. You'll no doubt have to edit the long., lat. and vert. values for the jetways to attach properly.

Dave

Note: SimMaster's OP problem is different...the jetways not showing at all due to the scenery density issue.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
