Camera angle as a pop up or gauge...?

i think so... that's the concept behind the side views (as in FS2000)
you can set them through the aircraft.cfg...
my suggestion would be to get an aircraft that has these side views, and see what's in the aircraft.cfg... then rip it off to yours ;)
oh, and i think this thread would be better off in one of the design forums, where it would get better attention
