Hi Nick

First of all let me thank you for all of the value you give on this board, I know that your guides and tweaks for fsx have been invaluable to me and many others.

My question is this; you've stated before that SLI provides no benefit unless you are in DX10 with very high resolutions.

I recently purchased a triple head 2 go with 3 - 22" monitors and saw a big drop in frames until I switched over to DX10 and turned on SLI(I have 3 - 280 Nvidia GTX cards).

Nope

DX10 in FSX has absolutely NO hardware control outside of the FSX GRAPHICS settings therefore checking AA and setting AF to ANISO is the only thing you can do in DX10 mode

And what I said is with SLI is there is no perf advantage at all except for those running very high resolutions... and that perf is not frames.. what it allows is larger resolution and higher AA with EQUAL frame results. The only reason DX10 is giving you better perf is becuse the water and shadow settings are not hitting the system at all in DX10 mode where in DX9 even 2xLOW hits the system
