Airport downloads question

Postby Mistro » Tue Mar 17, 2009 7:48 pm

Does downloaded airport sceneries change the way the default airports function?
I'm seriously considering downloading, in particular a JFK, NY airport because I have a problem with the default one. Just asking if user created airports are just eye candy or do they actually change anything.  If not I don't want to waist my time downloading. Thanks in advance.

It won't solve the problem you reported earlier, getting stuck at the 'hold short' because of excess ai ac on approach.

What it should give you is a more accurate and realistic rendering of the airport.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
