No mission Editor?

Postby Vindicator » Mon Mar 16, 2009 12:54 pm

There is no mission editor in FS?  Or anyway to place your aircraft anywhere on an airfield?  Or place static objects around the map?

I want to do an airshow type set up. Involving placing show markers around the airport, and putting some static planes around the airport for display.   Is there a way to do this?

Well there are several options...
There's FSrecorder I guess to place  planes places you want them but they wont be there forever.

Also you can download some airshow scenery's and I know there is one on the virtual blue angels website.

Those are the only suggestions I can help you with. 8-)

ADE lets you create airports and place objects.

It requires the FSX SDK.

To get it, if you insert disk 1 of FSX Deluxe in, and rather than just installing it, open up all the files. Then if you go in the folder SDK and launch the setup. After that, get the service packs of FSinsider.

If you have Acceleration, open the files on that as well, go into SDK, SP1a; install that. Finally, go back into the main folder of SDK on the disk, and launch sdk.
