Engines Shut Down On Final

I have had this problem on and off for a few months now and last night was the last straw. Long flight only to loose on final approach. I have checked the failures section and nothing is turned on I have even reset the defaults of the failure section. It started with one engine on a dash-8 and now it is all engines. On a twin engine aircraft I have been able to start them back up before crashing but it is impossible to get even two engines back on line in the 747 at 2300 ft and 5 NM out.

Is this happening with the default planes or only with addon ones?

You might want to turn ON your carb heat or engine anti-ice ;)

Do you have a Saitek yolk, the old ones(before new driver installation) were known for sending phantom commands.

The Saitek yoke answer seems to be the most logical. I do have that set up and will disable the Engine Start/Stop command from the yoke side of the controller. That would explain a few other glitches that I have experienced. (Autopilot engaging and engaging and views rotating around on there own. Thanks PingPong

My (noobie) guess......

POSSIBLY, your throttle is in need of calibration....when you pull off to an extent, you're dropping into an inadvertant engine off situation instead of idle.

Just a guess! :-/
