msvcr70.dll question

I am still trying to figure out why I'm having trouble with some panel/gauges in certain addon planes. I was reading this ( http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb2 ... 1235339562 ) post and it made me wonder if msvcr70.dll is an important file to have in FSX root directory for some planes ported over from older versions.

If this file is needed, I do not know where to put it. I did a search and found it in a few of my programs but FSX did not show up on the list. Do I need this file in my FSX directory, and if so, where do I put it? Thanks in advance.

You will need it for some planes imported from FS9 using FS9 gauges. It will not affect anything in FSX. It can only help ;)

Thanks Subzer0! Where in the FSX directory do I put it? And can I just copy it from other locations on my hard drive instead of downloading it again. I already downloaded it for another game.

In the main FSX folder. Same place as the FSX.exe and the terrain.cfg

That's all you need to do is drop it into your Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator folder.
