Sometimes an add-on aircraft I dowloaded does not have a picture, that is, no thumbnail picture appears in the texture file. So during the flight I take a picture of the aircraft using Gadwin Printscreen. The resulting picture however is in the form of "bitmap" file which does not work in the Select Aircraft. I have to convert it to a JPEG file. I've done this conversion before but I forgot. Can anyone refresh my memory?

If you have a graphics program, you can usually edit it by resizing and "save as" a jpg.

Got it! Right clicked on the Bitmap filed picture and open it with Infanview. Resized the pic as necessary and then saved it as JPEG file. Added it to the Aircraft Texture renaming it as "thumbnail". Made a note of the process so I don't forget.
