Postby Alejandro Rhodes » Wed Mar 04, 2009 8:23 am

Just curiosity,During all these time with my original packages FSX-FSX Acceleration ,I have set Full ,I have bough practicly a new computer (My specs below) some ones saids Its too low ,I run Fine to me in medium setting , I have flown all over the beach in one of those Flying Bicycles(LoL) and I never seen a bird ,Why?

Could it be my Edition?(Deluxe) was one of the first one :-/

You can spot some birds if you set the thermal visualisation to "natural". In this way, you'll find a pair of eagles soaring in each thermal. It's cool when you're in the glider, because those bird are supposed to indicate you where the thermals are, just like in real life.

Also, depending on your scenery settings, there are always some birds flying over some kind of boats.

There are no flocks of bird flying freely anywhere. There must be some AI traffic simulating that somewhere, but I'm not sure, and I'm sure it's not in the default FSX.

You can add flocks or birds in ADE, but otherwise, natural thermal visualization is the way to go :)

Alrot just try something:
- set the thermal visualization to "schematic", in order to see the green spirals.
- choose one of them and look closely where it stands
- switch to natural visualisation
- try to spot the eagles. They are HARD to find, very tiny objects in the air, but sometimes you see them.
