So i just got "Active Sky X" installed fine. but when i go to start it up it says "simconect could not be started up, no weather changes will be added to FsX"

and i just cant figure it out. been working on it for 2 weeks now.
Can anyone please help me figure this out?

Running FSX Deluxe, with Acceleration pack. got all service packs installed. running with Flight Environment X with no problems.

System specs:
AMD FX-57, water cooled
Asuse SLi Deluxe
4 gigs of ram
2 FXF 7800 GTX 512mb SLi
Raptor HHD, 2 terobites
Creative X-Fi digital sound card with 32mb
1000 watts power
Windows XP Pro

everything has all of the lates updates, drives, and patches installed.

Not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure, that FSX needs to be running to establish a SimConnect

Make sure that your firewall is configured to allow simconnect through it, and if that doesn't work, there's always the Active Sky Forums.

I suggest visiting their support forum at Avsim.
