Doors...All of Them

Postby Excalibur372 » Sat Feb 28, 2009 9:58 pm

Hey all you plane fanatics! I have 2 questions about doors.

Is there a way, on the Boeing 737-800, to open up EVERY SINGLE door on it? I know Shift + E opens up the main door and Shift + E +2 opens up the cargo doors. Is there anyway to open the rear door, emergency door...

When the cargo doors are open, is there any way to make the baggage trucks come up and dock to my cargo doors? I can get the jetway, but not those.

Thanks,
Lucas

The baggage trucks should be automatic when the cargo doors open.

As for the other doors, if they weren't modeled then you can't open them. so in the case of the default 737-800 there is only the main door that you can open (L1 Door).

Yeah, you can't open that many in the default 737-800, but I think in the default A321 you can open just about all of them. Just keep on going up through the shift+E numbers until all the doors are open.

And as ndude737 said, the baggage trucks should come when the cargo doors are open AND you are at a parking spot.

Hope that helps! ;D

oh, and you have to set your scenery complexity to at least Normal to see the ground crew on airports (i think)
and not every airport has them

Cheers

Forget about the doors.

The airport I use is KBTR(Baton Rouge Metropolitan). Though, it is weird. On one gate I get just the jetway and no ground crew. Then on another one, there is no jetway and just ground crew. Please help. Am I doing something wrong? My scenery is at normal. I have no autogen, though.

well, that particular airport might have inaccuracies... it's understandable when you consider that there are almost 30000 of them in FSX... you might wanna download addon scenery if you use that one a lot... will improve your experience a lot...

but if you wanna determine whether the ground crew and jetways are working properly, try parking up at some large airport like LAX, JFK, Heathrow, or whatever... cut engines, open door and set parking brakes... they should come
