Can anybody help with an issue I have. When flying at cruise on autopilot the aircraft goes into a rollercoaster type weave if I select a simulation speed of more than 4 times normal.

Yup, thats just what it does. Dont think there is anything you can do about it.

It's exactly the same, as if you were flying at normal speed, it's just much more apparant at higher simulation rates.

the accuracy of the simulation is inversely related to it's speed... since simulations work in steps, the faster it goes, the greater the sim time between steps, so this creates a decrease in accuracy that leads to all sorts of strange behaviours...

lucky you it's only a roller-coaster-ish wobble... i was flying an SR71 yesterday, and simply lost control and entered a flat spin because of this...  ;D

or maybe it was because the craft was unbalanced from burning all it's fuel... anyways, too high rate leads to some problems... you have to ignore this abnormal behaviour a bit... and kinda prentend it was a smooth flight during that time you were in a semi suspended animation state  ;)

i only wish there was a function to force the rate back to 1.0 when ATC called  ::) so many times they have kicked me out because i couldn't reply in time  :-[

Cheers
