I used to have great frame rates. Now the frame rates are haroble. Do they go up or down. Help!!!!!!!!!!

I used to know people who asked questions and then said the word "please" at the end of the sentence. Help!!!!!!!!!!

Frame rates are of secondary importance, is the sim smooth with little stutters, if yes then turn the FPS display off and fly it will only improve  the experience.

Low frame rates can be cause by several things.  The first thing to try to do is to minimize your slides in the display options, choose the ones most important to you, and increase them, check your frame rates, and keep doing that untill you start getting frame rates too low for your likeing, then back off a bit.  

there are a couple of stickies at the top of the FSX forums. go through and read everything that NickN wrote and follow it to the tee. that will improve your performance a lot. and remember that FSX is not about the frame rate, but about the smoothness. you can be flying at 40+ fps and stuttering all through the sky, but be flying at 24fps smoother than you could ever be with those 40+ fps +stutters

I saved the settings then copy and pasted them. Please help!

Like I said, back them all down, and increase the options most importsnt to you, or, start with the settings you already have set, and back own the least important ones, like Ground Traffic, weather complexity, an so on.
