Hi

I would give it a try, but they say it doesn't work on Vista :'(
Hopefully they will make a Vista version before long.

With the low quality of the video, it is hard to tell how much of a texture quality loss it gives. I also noticed there seemed to be NO AI aircraft (?). In all honest, if I have no AI, I can get 30+ fps with gfx settings on ultrahigh right now. However, I can not use much AI and still keep the frame rates up to a reasonable amount. But if I could use this texture tweak, I would like to see if it helped me to be able to run with more AI.

honestly, you still wouldn't be able to use much AI even with this so called 'tweak'. I'll look for the othe thread on this and direct you to it

because there was no traffic..

if you have autogen complexity set to dense or higher, then having traffic on will make FSX render the jetways in all airports within a certain radial distance from your plane, bringing the system down to its knees. that's why traffic hurts. you'll notice that if you add traffic such as WoAI, found here, the FPS hit won't be nearly as much as the default FSX traffic, because these models don't make FSX use its jetways, allowing for those saved up resources to be used for something more useful
