Default AI question?

I was able to use AIFPC to change my World of AI aircrafts to FSX.bgl's, which will allow me to have my boat traffic back and general aviation traffic. I was reading previous posts about aired which can help to disable the default AI. I was wondering if this allows me to disable certain aircrafts I don't want flying as AI. Also does it remove the aircraft from the free flight flyable mode?

The best way to stop any aircraft from flying is to remove it. Aired was never meant to stop AI air craft from flying. You can also remove it from any flight plans it might be on 8-)

Only way is to decomplile the original bgl and remove the planes you dont want.then recpmpile. I removed all the airlines and just kept the ga traffic and use woai for the airlines, helps improve fps as the defualt are really hard hitters when it comes to fps.

Assuming you only want FSX GA and you don't care for Orbit, Pacifica etc, place a .passive at the end of trafficAircraft.bgl in scenery\world\scenery

Then go here: http://www.flightsim2004-fanatics.com/u ... _GA_DL.htm and download the FSX GA files you wish to have and use AIFPC (or equiv.) to reconvert them back to FSX TDBB format as these were converted to Ttools format.

Thanks kagazi

I was wondering will the default Orbit/Pacifica still be in the free-flight mode and just disabled as AI when using your method. The reason is because I have Delta textures that use the default b737-800.

Free flight won't be impacted. The only thing you're doing is preventing the AI flight plan from being used.
