What View do you fly from?

just curious, maybe im missing the big picture.

The reason i ask is i spend 99% of the time in the left seat focusing on flying by intruments, using departure procedures and approach procedures, adjusting VOR frequencies and practicing ILS approaches. Maybe i will try the VC since a majority uses it.

I always use the VC unless I'm at a cruise FL and feel like looking around.  But at all critical times in flight I'm sitting in my seat, looking at what an actual pilot would be looking at.  8-)

VC for moi also.......some sightseeing gets me out of the seat, and some take-offs do too!  Sometimes I like the landing gear view, especially in somethin' big.

Mostly left seat, where I can find everything a whole lot quicker. Once I'm cruising I will look in spot on wing views.

I usually use the VC.  Or, the panel sometimes when I can't read the guages very well...but only to make quick adjustments then back to the VC.  It makes it more realistic to me.  plus you can look around and see "stuff".  My son has Trak IR....which is very awesome......but I don't need that much realism for myself.  It is amazing how realistic the head movements and the views that it can show are.

When flying the Jenny 100% VC, every other 80% VC, 10% 2DC, 5% locked spot, and the last 5% for all the other views.

I fly from the panel. I like that better then the VC. I must be a lonely only one.  ::) Well my graphics are so bad my VC words you cant read so  :o
