thats the one big problem with FSX, no AI aircraft are allowed. They are working on adding it to FSXI.

WOAI , worl of ai have an installer, but if you want to use the default you will need to convert the woai plans to fsx format, there is a converter on avsim somewhere. It does to batch converions, a little tedious but worth it.

??? Since when?

You can add your own AI flight plans with a nifty little program, forgot the name though... I'll check tommorow :)

Really?

Is that your final answer?

They are working on adding it to FSXI.

And how would you know what "they" are working on for FSXI anyway?

;) 8-)

They are working on MS Train Simulator 2 and will not begin work on FSXI until MSTS2 is 'in the box' for the 2009 holidays.

So far in this topic it looks like 0 fer 2...........

Ok, I'll give you that one, so I guess the score is now 1-2  :P

Yes, the AI aircraft are Artificial "Intelligent" planes that populate our virtual skies.

I haven't done much modifying to FSX but it seems that the systems are the same for AI in both FS9 and FSX, all you have to do is convert the aircraft so that they work in FSX.

Thats my understanding anyway.

Not really, the flight plan is the most important part. You can use a tool (the name of which still eludes me, I can check when I get home) to create flight plans, using even the default aircraft if wanted.

:)

Okay, the name of the tool is something as creative as 'AI Flight Planner'  :D

Ok I got ya,  but I did mean the WOAI aircraft would have to be converted.  Obviously not the default ;)
