HELP!!!!!!! Product activation code!!!

I have no idea what I've done now, but every time I start FSX, it asks me to enter activation code for Acceleration. I did that a year ago and just recently it's been doing this. I recently updated the driver for my Nvidia card and some Intel driver update too. Was that the cause? I am not exactly computer savvy and should leave well enough alone I suppose! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just enter the code again. see what happens.

I tried that and it keeps asking me to do it. So I do, it lets me play and then shuts down in the middle of a flight and says thankyou for using the trial version and asks me to enter code. AAAAAAARGH!

try uninstalling and reinstalling Acceleration

not sure, but for some reason i dont even have to put the DVD in my drive anymore, i used to but not now, oh well.

You don't have to put any disk in the drive, once FSX is installed

i have no idea, but imnot complaning, i used to have to take it in and out every time i wanted to play diablo or redlaert or flight simulator, now i dont play red alert, so i just leave the diablo disk in and everything works, strange but imnot complaining. besides my FS disk got scratched and i had to use the toothpaste trick to get it to work, and half the time it stillwouldnt work, so im tickled pink i dont have to have the disc in the drive anymore, but i got the deluxe version so if microft wants me to enter it, im ok i got it right here with me.

This has been happening ever since I updated two drivers. I'm trying to locate them and roll them back. Friggin computer, or should I say, frtiggin user of computer!!

why not uninstall them and reinstall the ones you had before? that would probably be safer than rolling them back

that happened to me too so i called the Microsoft corporation and they gave me a patch to download, so your best bet is to call them

You have to download the FSX validation tool and run it. I had the link but as of now I can't find it. Nick can tell you. I'll look some more and see if I can find it.

thanks everyone! I might have to resort to those tactics. I guees what I really want to know is how I've been running it for a year solid and this starts? Weird....

I also don't know how to fetch original drivers. I thought rolling back meant going back to the originals.

Is it possible to get infections from downloaded aircraft? Stupid question? I have Norton 360 and have the option of scanning my files but don't!! Am I just begging for viruses? LOL!!
