Most of the planes I download and put into my Sim object folder, do not show the thumbnail picture of the plane when I open the selection in free flight. How do I put the picture in? Please help!! Thanks a lot. :'(

There is a little utility here-http://www.simviation.com/fsxutilities1.htm- called Autothumbnail v2, that will create the thumbnail.jpg files.

Else: you can take a screenshot of the aircraft and crop/resize the image to make your own. Standard thumbnails are 256x128 pixels saved in .jpg format, and must be named thumbnail.jpg. Just drop the .jpg into the relevent ....\\texture*\ folder for each paint.

PS. Welcome to SimV   :)

The one I use for add-on planes is a bitmap I made in "Paint" that has "Cool Add-On!" for text.

No need to resize the pic (if you don't mind the few extra kb) just take a screenshot, name it thumbnail (with ending *.jpg) and past it to the texture folder...
