Removing Lightning and Thunder, Help me...which f

Postby Kanahele » Mon Jan 05, 2009 12:16 am

Maybe some experts could help me with my weather tweaking....

Ok...running REX...and I love flying in a Thunderstorm 'theme'...the clouds and conditions are spectacular...

I just don't want the lightning and flashes and thunder constantly going off.

I have found, in the effects folder.....the fx_lightning1.bmp
(I removed that...no more lightning!)

but still having light 'flashes'...and thunder.....

does some know which other files I can remove to remove the light flashes and thunder?

Thankyou!

I guess you could search the sound folder and render the thunder sound file(s) unusable, and then do the same for the lightning effect in the effect folder, that is assuming they're there

Yes, I have found the lightning effect...and deleted it...no more lightning...

But, there still seems to be a lightning 'flash'...a bit of light that you see flash when lightning goes off...not sure which file for that one to delete...

anyone>?

Thanks

I would strongly recommend you post this question in the REX support forum.

There will be devs like Tim or so to answer that question.
