737 Won't Crossfeed

The default 737 won't cross feed no matter which way the cross feed switch is set at. This is so annoying, every time I play FSX it seems like there is always an issue to suck the fun out of flying. :(

Any idea what could be wrong?

What does crossfeed do anyway?

In theory.. you can manage your fuel logically..

OK.. I don't know how it is IRL...  but the Captain Sim 757 allows for pilot fuel management.

You can manipulate how much each tank is used by pump selection (two per tank, including center).. and if there is fuel in only one set of wing tanks.. the only way for both engines to run is if croos-feed is turned on..

Apparently, it only happens when you start the plane up manually. Usually crossfeed works and it uses up fuel from all the tanks at the same rate, but, when manually started, it doesnt matter which way the crossfeed switch is, it just uses gas from one tank.

I always do a cold start... and it was burning fuel from all tanks (regardless of X-flow setting)..

Are you sure you don't have a  "left over" setting from a previous flight ?  If I fly something like the Mooney (only allows fuel burn from one tank or the other).. I have problems with other planes buring from just that tank..

That's been a MSFS bug forever..

Yes, I deleted all the default flights and FSX gave me a warning that it was loading the default flight since there were no others. I don't know what it is, I guess I'll have to stay away from cold starts for now.
