737 disapeared

i downloaded some textures for the 737. i installed them and i ges i didnt instal it properly . when i started X THE ICON DIDNT SHOW UP.i then deleted the texture addon and it still didnt show up. i got so angry i deleted the 737, hoping to find a better one that works; but i dint.
i was wondering if someone would send me a link for a proper freeware 737 with vc for FSX. please help me

The aircraft.cfg is your problem. Sounds like you didn't change the numbers correctly...

I just downloaded a bunch of textures for three different aircraft and was very pleased with the result. All of the aircraft repaints that I downloaded came with very specific detailed instructions on how to install them. That information is in the form of a MS wordpad document contained in the file.
I'm not sure what you did to make all of your FS default 737's disappear but from my experience return everything you have done as it was before you started and follow the instructions in the download to the letter.

It's a bit late now but to avoid this happening in future take a backup copy of files before attempting to edit them.

i tried deleting all of the addons but i some how got the original and simviation textures mixed up. i used the th e notepad to acsess cfg and i saw the names for the different texture. the icon still didnt appeare on the fsx menu. i loaned my copy of fsx to a friend and i might not get back til jan 10th i cant wait that long besides i have other addons im going to loose if i re-instal . i miss the 737 and i cant live without it
please help me.

All you have to do is pop in your disk and click repair. Then it should show up?
Inless you have a illegal copy of it on your computer with no disk which is why you want the full copy. Although im sure thats not you ;)
Ive been angry with FSX so many times I couldent even estimate just next time dont delete the airplane just leave your computer
