Transparent aircraft

Transparent aircraft

Postby Touv » Thu Dec 11, 2008 7:52 am

I have downloaded various aircraft from Simvation to FSX with Acceleration and am having problems making them run correctly (Ka8, Bocian v5, Duo Discus and Ash). Any image of the aircraft is seen as transparent or when on the ground as a mirror image of some scenery. Only the instrument panels show correctly in the simulation.  My download of the L-Spatz does not show at all in the FSX aircraft menu although the folders are correctly placed in SimObjects (Aircraft).

I am running Vista on a Mac partition.

I had the same issue.

Uncheck DirectX 10 Preview in the graphics settings.
The aircraft appeared for me.

Turned off Direct10 and it has worked. Thanks folks.

Now the other problem -  My download of the L-Spatz does not show at all in the FSX aircraft menu although the folders are correctly placed in SimObjects (Aircraft). Any ideas?

Does buying and loading FSUIPC4(2) make any difference and, if so, what?
