The photoreal scenery of the Grand Canyon area. The scenery is for FSX SP2 only, it has got a resolution of 2m/pixel, autogen and nightlights, Summer season only. The main airport of the area, KGCN (Grand Canyon Natural Park) has been dramatically improved.

It is a stunning scenery, created by Antonio C., and Maurizio G. The photoreal scenery is based on the latest techniques, to ensure a real visual experience in flight. Colorado river has animated water in the parts where it's bigger.

Same here, since photo scenery usually wipes out trees and some buidings.  With the Canyon, and the way the add-on is blended in with the adjoining default terrain, that's not a problem.  I may have to crank up my "detail radius", though.  :)

Does anyone know the best way to install this?  Should I put in in the default FSX folder, or should I put it somewhere else and manually add it to the scenery library?  I'd like to turn it on/off if I want to see winter textures.  Thanks.

Just use the installer, you still have to activate it in Scenery Library so you can just untick it for winter.

BTW this scenery is the best I have ever seen it makes it so real its almost like flying the Canyon in the real world....brilliant well worth it. Thanks go to NickN for the heads up on it

I can't believe this is FREE!  It throws the whole universe upside down.  Well done.

It almost makes me want to make KGCN my default AP.  Almost.  ;)
