Good morning all... :)

Just a quick question and it has probably been asked a hundred times before.

I think the performance updates were with SP2 which came with acceleration originally.  So now that you can download that separately I think there is no need to purchase acceleration.

There are some missions in Acceleration, that aren't about racing or helis and stuff.

But I doubt, you'll see any performance improvements...

I've got acceleration "loaded" and it is does little to increase performance other than sp2 that it comes with. I ended up buying a  rebuilt rig to run it. Even took my computer guy 3 tries to get it right.
In my case, I'm happy with accl. now  :)

Good morning all... :)

I bought it when it first came out...$30.00 Canadian.

I had it installed as I said before but had nothing but problems with this computer since I got it.
I hate Vista with a passion.

When I run Direct X I get white boxes everywhere so I leave that unchecked as well.

Thanks for the comments...will leave Acceleration in the box.   :)

Cheers...Happy Landings...Doug

That's up to you, but I would definitely recommend giving it a go, there are some great missions and planes in there ;) :)

Doug , install acceleration or at least SP2, most of the "True FSX models" (the planes I've done included) requires SP2 Also with acceleration you will have some cool planes specially the F-18 , try sp2 or acceleration my friend..
