Installing Add-on Scenery

I'm new to add-ons.
I recently downloaded some scenery files. One of them came with an installer. I ran the installer and assumed that the files were put in their respective places. I think the files are in the same folder I extractedthem to. The folder with the files reads "browse to you main FSX directory!" What does that mean? Do I have to copy or move the files to the program files\FSX directory? Thanks in advance.
