Smooth VC Camera changes

I look on a few videos on youtube like fsx films etc and when they look from side to side or up and down in VC mode they seem to do it swift and smoothely. like the view is not in a locked mode. At the moment it is like the view moves around like a robot, any explanations as to how they move around smoothly like a real person turning their head. Any idea how they do this?

They are surely using a Track IR.

Ah, I see... but is there any modification that has been done or I can do to make it twist round in the VC like it does in spot view on the exterior of the aircraft?

Yes you can in FSX.
If you look at the camera definitions in the aircraft.cfg of a given plane, you will notice that there are some parameters that define de kind of movement of the camera.

Perhaps you have already seen an aircraft with a "normal" pilot view, but a "smooth" copilot view (circling through the internal view by pressing A key). Find a plane like that and compare the two camera definitions.

However, it will never look as natural and realistic as what a Track IR produces...

oh ok, I have already tried using the a key to get the different views but this seems to be slow to move rather than smooth. Thanks anyway, I was just making sure that there wasnt a way to do it without paying out for track ir

No no, there's one type of camera movement which has some kind of "inertia", not only slowlyness.
