I downloaded real weather for my local area and the conditions outside it is a low stratus deck but everytime I download real weather no matter where all I get are cumulus clouds :-/

Try Active Sky X, it's worth the money.

It's not released yet, but it shoud be in the next month. Once it's released, I'm going to decide between it or Active Sky.
