I decided to download that nhancer thing to sort of increase performace and add a little eyecandy. Well, things went bad. I mean the eyecandy was awesome but performance jast plumeted.
After reviewing the cost benefit ratio I decided I was better off nhancer and uninstalled it all together. But for some damn reason the graphics remain the same even after I uncheck the AA and so forth. I

You have a low-end video card, very cheap but very unpowefull as well. It is perfectly normal to dramatically loose performance when pushing the quality settings.
Uninstalling NHancer had no effect because it's not NHancer that "drives" your video card. NHancer just modifies the NVidia game profiles, and of course those profiles remains when you uninstall NHancer. What you should do is going to the NVidia Control Panel, then go inside the profiles to modify the main settings. I strongly suggest you to lower the AA, AF and the texture filtering quality: you are probably on "Quality" or "Best Quality" settings right now, so you should try to set this to "Performance" or "Best Performance".
Also, the best solution would be to reinstall NHancer, and set the FSX profile with settings which are more adapted to your video card. The settings recommended by NickN are suitable for 7800, 8800 or higher video cards.

So if I hang an 8800GT nvidia my performance would increase dramaticaly? I mean, would it fit well with my current hardware...

You would get better performance goin to a faster cpu. You will only be dissapinted if you get a graphics card first. The cpu and RAm are the usual bottlenecs in most systems as those who upgrsed there graphis first can testify to. Fatser ram and cpu wil increse frame rates and load time, this has taken me 4 graphics cards and 3 cpus and 2 lots of ram to prove. Get a 3.2 gig cpu and you will see a diff and get 800mhx or 1066 mhz ram if your mother board supports it its cheaper then a good video card any way.

Nhancer is not a performace increaser... its a quality increaser with a small perf hit depending on the AA setting, and, it reduces shimmer
In other words it increases the quality of the image in value far past the possible perf loss and that loss depends on the CPU/Memory and GPU in use. With the right parts the loss is hardly noticed
The video card in use here is for FS9 not FSX and the system is not geard for FSX performance.
