Guages Missing

Postby Flying Trucker » Thu Oct 23, 2008 10:53 am

Hi all... :)

I downloaded the "Volpar" Beechcraft 18 from Nor-Cal Prop Club on page 33 of the Simviation Download Section along with several other aircraft.

The Flight Guages are not showing in the Main Cockpit of the Volpar however they all work and show in the Virtual Cockpit.
I downloaded the Volpar twice to see if the download was a problem.
Everything else looks just fine and seems to work as well.

The Amphibian Maule from page 34 is wonderful and works great.

Try this one: http://www.freewebs.com/wreckerman/radialpropplanes.htm

I just grabbed them both to check them out. This link goes to their site.

Hi Shane... :)

Made no difference.

Maybe some of these aircraft downloads only have the instruments in the Virtual Cockpit Mode?

Hi Doug. This is Brian Gladden's original FS9 model "updated"* for FSX. After a peek at the Panel.cfg I suspect you need to paste copies of some of the FS9 default gauges into the FSX\Gauges folder. Try Cessna182rg.gau & Cessna208.gau to start with.

*I use the word updated in its loosest sense.

Okay, the digital ADI (attitude) is out of place, but it's better than nothing.   ;)

Hmm, looking at it, I must have messed up "gauge37."  Ah well, must not have been important.....   :D
